Greetings from our President
Further together.
The education that business schools provide has always been characterized by being focused on achievement, on meeting the needs of companies and on satisfying the healthy ambitions of their students for their professional improvement.
Since, in 2005, Spanish legislation in education has included the «Official Master Degree”, this specific qualification has been losing prestige and value in the business environment, as a consequence of its generalization and banalization before the massive offer of titles and the inequality of its quality and results.
When, in 2008, a group of business schools decided to create the Spanish Association of Business Schools, to defend of the particular characteristics and idiosyncrasy of the training that many of them had been developing for decades, we could hardly imagine that, after 10 years, this defense would be more necessary than ever.
The prestige of the training taught by the business schools is based on the quality of its teachers, most of them working as managers and business consultants because there is nothing better than learning from people with experience and passion for what their day-by-day job. In addition, the School Directors are responsible for providing the necessary academic rigor and a program that transforms these master classes, the case method or the “learning by doing” in comprehensive tools that serve the two main purposes of every good business school: practical training oriented to results in the business field and a training that pushes and improves the employability of the students.
On our tenth anniversary, I encourage you to participate in our fourth Congress in which we will present the objectives of the new European Federation of Private Schools of higher education that, together with associations of France, Germany, Austria, and Portugal was created last June in Brussels, and of which we are founding members.
Further to learn, to act and to solve together.
